Cuppa Team win major 'Impact' grant from Ufi Charitable Trust

Following a highly successful pilot, the team behind the Cuppa micro-leaning platform won a prestigious grant from the Ufi Charitable Trust to further develop and scale their idea.

The Ufi's aim is to help improve vocational skills in the UK's workforce by funding digital solutions for vocational learning. They only fund activity that is 'scalable' through technology, i.e projects that use digital methods to widen access to vocational learning.

The Trust recognises the value for the social care workforce in micro-learning, just-in-time access and mobile delivery of practical guidance on everyday care tasks. The Impact grant is funding the build and delivery of  market-ready CuppaCare system. The idea is to give social care employers and manager the functionality to blend flexible bite-sized elements with face-to-face learning and supervision, or incorporate them into longer online modules. And for care workers to benefit from accessible, task-based learning and performance support.

The new phase of Cuppa's development begins in December 2017. The core team have recruited MyKnowledgeMap as their technical partners for this next exciting phase.
